Forestry Heavy Equipment Trade Assistant

Oxford Hills Technical School in Norway, Maine seeks a Forestry and Heavy Equipment (FHE) Trade Assistant to join our team.  

The FHE program provides high school students with training in forestry, wood harvesting, and related heavy equipment operations.  This training includes classroom instruction and applied learning projects both on- and off-campus.  The successful candidate will supervise small groups of students, assist with the classroom, shop, and field activities, assist the instructor in the preparation and organization of instructional materials, and help maintain program equipment.  

The successful candidate will have at least a high school diploma and three years of paid employment in a field related to Forestry and Heavy Equipment.  He or she must have a bus drivers license or be willing and able to get one. 

This is a full time, salaried, school year (180 day) position with full benefits.  It starts in late August 2021.  The search will end when a suitable candidate is hired.

Auto Collision Repair Trade Assistant

Oxford Hills Technical School in Norway, Maine seeks an Auto Collision Repair (ACR) Trade Assistant to join our team.  

The ACR program provides high school students with training in body and frame components, repair and paint techniques, structural repairs, production painting, and thin metal welding. This training includes classroom instruction and applied learning projects.  The successful candidate will supervise small groups of students, assist with the classroom and shop, assist the instructor in the preparation and organization of instructional materials, and help maintain program equipment.  

The successful candidate will have at least a high school diploma, three years of paid employment in a field related to Auto Collision Repair, ASE certification and/or I-CAR training.

This is a full time, salaried, school year (180 day) position with full benefits.  It starts in late August 2021.  The search will end when a suitable candidate is hired.

Computer Technology Instructor

Oxford Hills Technical School seeks a Computer Technology Instructor to join our team. 

The Computer Technology program trains high school students interested in pursuing a career in information technology (IT).  Students gain functional knowledge about computers, networks, routing, switching, programming and software development.

This is a full time school year (180 day) position with full benefits.

The successful candidate will have at least three years of experience in the IT field.  An Associate's degree or higher is preferred.  The position starts in late-August 2021.  The search will end when a suitable candidate is hired.
